Paddle boarding in Falmouth

I'm just back from a few happy days in Cornwall: bit drizzly most days, but I always enjoy the scenery and seaside smells! Steve drove me to Sennen Cove (gorgeous), and Mullion Cove (where they filmed 'Poldark' apparently) - very bleak and dramatic. This is at Maenporth on a calm day, and he paddled around the bay three times without falling off :))

I bet his feet were cold!

i fancy that! That looks fun! Must be really good for the 'core' strength too..all that balancing. Reminds me of our holiday in Lake Garda about 2002. We saw rowers on the river and there they row standing up...brilliant to see them.

Can you take a sick bag on with you?

Karen, Steve was telling me about one or two 'expert' paddle-boarders, who can paddle around the headland (probably nearly a mile) in shorts (no wetsuit), and with pockets stuffed with food, plus their precious mobile phone!

Lol....no sick bags then?!
