And another random one, completely different form to all the others from this cross and they're all eyed too, 6inch flowers.

This is so similar to the Brer Rabbit's Baby cross I kept from last year, and think that has more potential with its parents so this is another that can go.

That was easy, wasn't it! I had a friend come around today to get a preview of what rejects he will be getting in the fall. He is complaining that he is running out of space, and I keep telling him to yank out the ones he doesn't like. But he just doesn't want to throw any plants away...

I'm getting ruthless lol, looked today so many muddy pinks and purples they've got to go!!, same with a couple of named ones Highland Giant great flower just hidden among the foliage what goods that !, it's been moved still the same, I have better seedlings.

Youre so knowledgeable on the day lillies Kathy. I have no idea how you remember all the names. Do you feed them? When do you split them too? Loving mine.

Best time to split is September/ October or April/ May Dawn,I feed mine in early spring with a seaweed fertiliser, did use one you dilute with water but with having so many now I use a dry one you sprinkle round the plants.
Aaaaah I have a plan of the seedling bed to remember them, the daylily bed too although I can usually tell the named ones without that now :-)
Glad you're enjoying yours :-)

I have a couple like this, but I use them as pollen parents and for their form.
