Do they come back year after year? In Vermont, they cannot make it. Our winters too harsh. It is such a showy plant.

it's spectacular, and I envy you. the nurseries sell them as perennials. So stunning.

thanks Wells, we do not get harsh weather as you do. Although after saying that in 2010/11 it did get down to minus 19 in places in Lincolnshire, not had as bad a winter as that before and hopefully not again. It did survive here after that so think it is probably a strong one.
