Climbing Bleeding Heart, for my file

Never seen one of these before.....

Grown from seed originally, perennial. I thought we had destroyed it removing the supporting tree, but found a pies of tap root and regrew it in a pot and Voila! Can keep an eye out for seed in Autumn, if you would like.

I grew these from seed too, must check on them now we've had some rain they looked a sorry state before, yours looks good :-)

Don't take up much room, up a host, with ferny foliage. Deciduous.

Well ahead of mine can barely see the buds it climbs up Magnolia Stellata in my garden very long lived as well been there well over twenty years.

Known to me as Dicentra Scandens comes from Tibet
Botanist have given it another name so may be confusing when looking to buy

Dactylicapnos Scandens now i believe Bjs , what a mouthful !! Wish they wouldn't change names.

Knew it had a name change, thought someone would come up with it, save me googling it. Thanks Simbad, will add new name to my file.
