I do that HB and repot them in fresh compost then in the spring I start watering them again.

Thanks Homebird, Linda :). I will give your method a try. I really like them but have lost them in the past, as ive left them outdoors. Do you leave them in the pot they were in outdoors over winter in the greenhouse?

Dawn, you could do but we get vine weevils here so I'm reluctant to keep the same compost in the pot so change the compost. A couple of years ago we had vine weevil maggots right down to almost the bottoms of the pots.
