Still no sign of mine yet, sigh..

wow, mines are growing like weeds.

It looks great! It loves heat!

I know it's been hot there...that's good for Hibiscus.

We grow hundreds of varieties of tropical Hibiscus. They love when it's hot...like the extreme heat we're having now (101ºF yesterday and hotter today).

Yep, It's hotter now then it's ever been but I see black clouds on the horizon. I hope we get a thunderstorm.

I wish we would get some thunderstorms to bring us some much-needed rain.

Has it cooled down a bit? Today it cooled down to about 90ºF. from yesterdays, again 101ºF. (two days in a row).

ughh! I don't know how you can bare it. I don't think you get the humidity like we do. That would make a big difference.

Oh, you'd be surprised how humid it gets in San Diego (it's probably the most humid city in California). It's actually very humid tonight.

We've had heat indices in the 123ºF range. The worst was back in 2006 (the hottest summer on record for most of California) we had a 132ºF. heat index. It was 109ºF. with 40% humidity. It was HORRIBLE!!! (I'll never forget it, as the a/c could not cool down the house).

We are suppose to get storms today. They can't get here soon enough. They will break this heat wave.

I hope you get your rain! I know when it's hot and humid you just want the rain to cool it down.

Thanks I hope your drought ends soon - 4 years already. I heard all about those fires too. Very sad. I'm just sipping ice cold lime-ade until the heat wave breaks.

It's still very hot and humid here in inland San Diego. It's suppose to cool down a little for 3 days then heat back up again. We're getting into the hottest months (Sept, October and sometimes November) of the year, here. I'm hoping instead of the very hot and dry weather of fall we'll receive El Niño rain storms to relieve the severe drought.
