It is the start of Amaryllis season! The white ones open about a month before the pink ones. The foliage on the whites are a lot bigger.

The bulbs are huge - bigger than the fake Amaryllis. The seeds are even easy to start. But it grows during the winter with leaves around 2 ft long and will die if it gets frosty.

I have 5 more seeds from this that have sprouted this year; and 3 from the cross I made of this × Rhodophiliala bifida.
