I find it starts upright Dawn but starts to flop around mid summer.

I see Andrew. Mine has only really began to show itself so no doubt it will flop in a couple of weeks time ?

I love the colour ,mine grows so tall it eventually flops as well ,I usually stake it !

Flopped stems often layer themselves - useful for propagating more plants to sell at my Open Garden.

Thats one way of looking at it Andrew I must leave a few laying down !

A bonus! Yay. But .... When plants flop, its so annoying isn't it?

Ours is still upright, for the moment, but, I do cut it back during the season......

I have a few flowers now and still upright :-)

It is only the surrounding plants keeping mine upright. So easy to propagate, I now have 3. Two will have to go.

Do yours layer themselves Siris? Or do you propagate another way. That's a good idea, get other plants to support.

I took cuttings from mine, very quickly rooted. I have not allowed my plant to sprawl on the ground, so I don't think there are layers, anyway I hope not, the original is big enough as it is.

Thanks Siris, I will give it a try.
