I used to love B&Q for plants, but haven't seen anything good there for a long time. Mind you, I never go near the place if I can possibly avoid it!

For me, this is in the same group as bracken fern - so highly invasive that I would be very afraid to plant it in a pot. It's lovely, but scary. :)

Thanks everyone, yes Dawn I bought a couple of cannas from reduced stand huge plants only £4, look nice in a pot near the door.
I've had quite a few plants from there this year Karen lovely Acer at a bargain price.
Lol Wylie hopefully not that bad here!!, that's the fern I bought isn't it? that you said im lucky i live in a place were it'll die, must say its very well behaved here and hardly grown at all!

I got a great Acer for Mum, from Morrissons in Gainsborough Kathy! :)

You know I rarely go to Morrisons Karen although my sister has had some great plants from there ,I used to be the store cashier and so many people I know it takes ages to do my shopping, I shop online at Asda lol.

Hi Kathy, I dont have any yellow ones but just googled, yellow crocosmia with rhs garden merit and a couple came up :-)

Ours is still looking very sorry for itself, got too wet.
