LOL thanks Tracey. I hope I can find one. This is my aunt's dog I was visiting her up in Stamford, Connecticut for the weekend. Ruby is beautiful, she's a pure white Golden Retriever. She wants you to rub her tummy.

Ahh! How could you resist?

She looks chilled out. Retrievers usually have good natures, and make good family pets. Lovely picture.

Aaaw she's lovely, we had a golden retriever (Penny)when we first got married, hubby said he'd bought me a moped to go to work on I was a nervous wreck as we drove for miles to fetch it and I was thinking I'd have to ride it back, turned out to be a gorgeous puppy:-)

Yes I agree with Lindak, Goldies do have good natures. I doggie sit for some friends Goldie - Finlay. He is so lovable, well behaved, and will let you do anything with him... He's a real poser and takes a great photograph - I've dressed him up with sunglasses and a sunhat to email a picture to his Mum, while she's been away on holiday! ;o)

They are great dogs aren't they - not yappers or squealers like some other breeds. They love the outdoors, running around and very loyal.

What a model doggie petal. It's Chatsworth weekend this weekend, and there will be lots of different things going on with dogs involved. Last year we watched the gun dogs retrieving and the dogs obedience classes. Great fun. They have the Red Arrows performing in the sky tomorrow. Super all round show in the heart of the countryside. Can't go this year after having my knee operation, but next year perhaps......

Sounds like a lot of fun Linda. I wish I can go too! Sorry about your knee.

Thanks Paul, have to have the other one done, then I shall be steady on my feet again.......At Chatsworth they have lots of stalls selling things from furniture to outside clothing, food to garden furniture, and in the main arena have pony games and a lady flying her birds of prey, usually something military and this year I think it's the Russian Cossacks. So many other things as well.

That sounds a lot like what we call "flea markets." Don't ask! It's very popular upstate New York in the summer time.

These are proper shop names selling their wares Paul. They have a huge tent where well known chefs demonstrate how to cook different dishes. Another tent where people with artistic talent display and sell their wares, from clothing, toys, jewellery etc. There is a display of vintage cars and army vehicles,, I could go on........It's a massive show.
I think of flea markets as car boot items where people sell mostly second hand items and antiques. We have a programme called Bargain Hunt where two teams explore these places and buy 3 items to sell at an auction and compete to how much they win or lose.
