Perennial Sunflower

There is an abandoned house down the street from me, where this is trying to take over.

I have just been given one of these by a neighbour.

Yes this is a scarey plant Wylie several times I've been tempted to dig it out, but do like those flowers so now I go round the clump in spring and dig loads out so it can't get among other plants, maybe a barrier of some sort would be better the roots don't go down to deep.
Watch it Siris it is a thug!

It is a tiny piece and doesn't look very health. Will see if it is that tenacious!
