Darn thing. Its at the pond several times a day. Sometimes there are two of them. We dont have any posh fish in there luckily.

What kind of bird is this Dawn? He's brilliant. Sounds like he found an easy meal. Do your fishes have a hiding place? Lilies?

Its a heron! They hunt early in the morning usually but this one hangs around a lot. We don't have ornamental fish in there, just minnows and common Rudd. He waits on the bridge and on this weeping birch. The kingfisher can have whatever he wants! This boy is too greedy.
