Not as good as a kingfisher but I just saw my first ever hummingbird hawk moth on a Saponaria right outside the kitchen window!!

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed. I guess as we have the stream plus the canal over the road, ideal territory for kingfisher. Wow Kathy. Not seen a hummingbird moth for a few years now. When I first saw one I thought it was a humming bird lol. It was june time on a Centranthus rubra
