Its a challenge to keep their minds focused on their uniqueness and beauty as they get older isn't it.....once the media messages start kicking in, and unkind girls at school start to have an input. But they have a good few years before that happens...hopefully! :))

Thanks Linda. Freya is the one on the far left, I am assuming the other two are friends from nursery who have come with from Nursery. I approve of uniforms, no squabbles over what they want to wear.

The junior school down the road wear uniforms. It's a good thing and they're not competing for what they wear.
They soon grow up.

Tell me about it! Freya is definitely 4 going on 40 lol!

I'm hoping to get back to helping with the reading at the local school, sometime next year, when my knees are o.k. again. I did it for 2 years and really enjoyed helping out.

I'm thinking of doing something similar myself, but I think I'll wait until Freya moves up next year as I don't want her to feel I'm watching her.

I'm sure you will find it a rewarding thing to do in volunteering at the school. It's lovely to see the children progress with their reading skills and be able to help them understand new words and what they mean.
