My Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee' is flowering very well. This plant loves the extreme heat we've been having as long as it gets enough water. Photo taken Sept. 3, 2015.

Yes, this plant is very tropical. It's loving the record hot nights, very rare hot morning lows (for this time of year). Our morning lows have been around 80ºF (27ºC)...and yes lots of high humidity. It's typically much drier this time of year. It's usually very hot during the day and cool at night and morning [the normal morning low is 62ºF (17ºC)].

At least something is enjoying the heat (and humidity?)!
