You should get more flowers. It flowers continuously from summer through late winter and a little rest in spring.

What summer!

Meanie:
Maybe no summer there. We've had a very hot summer here. It's still hot here and getting much hotter. It's suppose to rain (which is coming form the deep tropics) on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday; however, it'll still be in the upper 90's (37ºC), give or take a degree. The humidity has been killing us! (extremely hot nights) the ac unit can't keep up. Many people in the emergency rooms from heat exhaustion or heat stroke. It's HORRIBLE!!!

De!onix I really don't think I could cope with your weather, I know we comp!ain about the lack of summer (Meanie) it was 40deg in France when we were on holiday and that was quite enough for me!! we left England in beautiful weather and returned to beautiful weather, lucky or what?
Thanks Shirley and Feverfew I love the colours...

Dottydaisy2:
This is the time of the year we can get that 110º (43.3ºC) weather (yesterday we had temps almost this high). San Diego's official highest temp ever recorded was on September 26, 1963...it was 111ºF (44ºC). Many areas around the city recorded temps up to 121ºF (49.4ºC).

How do you cope with it, I would have to be coolling off in a pool all day..?
23 Sep, 2015
A really good a/c unit is a must. My ac unit isn't that good, unfortunately! My house still can get up to 90ºF (32ºC) with the ac on (when it's really hot). I do go over friends' house and go into their pool unusually at night. Usually we're in the pool until 10 or 11 p.m. That's one of the ways I cool off.
