Salvia microphylla Cerro Potosi

I can't say Dawn so many are similar the leaves look like Painted Lady do you have mauve ones in amongst them ....

Hi Amy. Salvia are amazing, aren't they. I think painted lady is redder, this has all cerise flowers. I have a really good garden centre a couple of miles away that had only recently opened to the public as wholesale previously. Great plants, reasonable but not always labelled! They grow alot themselves but mainly bedding plants and annuals.

Its hard isn't and no help if they're not labeled but worth having if they are good healthy plants ,I keep all my labels but even then they can look a completely different colour than that on the label ...

I keep labels too Amy, well I try to but I never seem to find the one I want!

Love these S. microphylla as they're SO long flowering :) This one is very like my 'Cero Potosi' but there are so many!

Yes flower for so long. Do you take cutting Sheila. I do to place it safe.

Haha, I said place it safe instead of play it safe, no worries.
Another bonus isn't it how easy they are to propagate.

Lovely colour, agree great plants, I have Penny's Smile similar colour its not stopped flowering since May .

Me too DD, they are brilliant. I know Kathy, flower for ages and need nothing doing to them. Pity most are tender but easy to take cuttings from.
