Grown from seed and planted out behind the re-vamped sink gardens. Hope they survive the winter, they should do it's fairly sheltered up there

Fingers crossed Waddy :O)
I love them too Rose I haven't noticed the slugs eating the other lupins so hopefully they will not do so up there, in fact there is a Hosta not far from them and it is the only one that has no damage at all on the leaves, really strange. Think up there though it is quite dry and the ground is hard and they do not like that. Will let you know if they survive.

Just checking in on you. Seeds are the way to go.
bought some snaps and nothing, bought some seeds, blooming snapdragons! Your lupins look great. What do you think of throwing some seeds in the ground now, covering with a bit of dirt and mulch???

They might grow Wells, not sure how cold you get over there, maybe hang on in until spring and put some under cover they will get a better start, then plant them up when they are big enough. But have a little experiment with some in the ground we shall see what happens then. You might be lucky. :O)

I am going to do both this next year. I do know that certain seeds doI better than others. Ex. I bought some snapdragons from a reliable place. Nothing much happened, I then planted some seeds. (I love snapdragon colors) and the seeds are blooming. It could be the plants ere not so wonderful, but the seeds came up like gangbusters. A lot of the annuals can be grown in Vermont from seed. I have found after many years, finally, that care and then neglect work quite well.
