I have several plant throughout my garden. This is the largest one. It flowers every late summer into fall. Photo taken Oct. 2, 2015.

Was it Justicia carnea 'Huntington?' That's a really nice variety.
Gophers do eat Justicia.

I had the Huntington Justicia. In my backyard. Then,it was gone.
Planted in the ground too. I wonder if they taste good to racoon's or gophers?
