Nerine bowderii

My Nerines are not quite open yet, but since I have never had flowers on my ones before after X years, bought a new packet, hurrah they are going to flower. I think the problem is they are so close to the building, very dry, and get ants undermining them.

Fingers crossed for them Sue , these are special to me as my late brother gave them to me they came out of his garden I'm always pleased to see them in flower ...

They look pretty right now in my garden as well.

Plants are even more special when you are able to be reminded of the giver.

I've never grown them. Nice .

A lovely sight at this time of year, I will try some.

Lovely Amy, ours are out but very random, because the slugs and snails got to them when we were in France...

Thanks everyone , Oh Angela what a shame I wasn't aware the slugs liked them I must have been lucky so far ...

Oh yes Amy they eat them before they can get out of the ground, I usually keep a close eye on them, but you cannot be in two places at once, and our garden sitters only water and deadhead lol

Thats something worth remembering to look out for but no help to you :o(
