Oh yes Amy they eat them before they can get out of the ground, I usually keep a close eye on them, but you cannot be in two places at once, and our garden sitters only water and deadhead lol

My Nerines are not quite open yet, but since I have never had flowers on my ones before after X years, bought a new packet, hurrah they are going to flower. I think the problem is they are so close to the building, very dry, and get ants undermining them.
