Spotted this at a nursery a few weeks ago, very long flowering 4-5 months apparently, thought I'd have to wait till next year for flowers so really surprised when it sent up two flower spikes.

Hope it still flowers in spring Dawn, can't see it lasting that long now once it turns cold, it is strange isn't it no lupins here but a couple of hellebores in full flower.

Dont let it set seed as soon as its finished cut the old blooming stalks right down, funny enough in the park by the office we have a magnolia in flower huge purple cup shaped.

It does have the same foliage as my other perennial ones Siris so hope so.
