For my records a new fern for the wood.

Most of the ferns are also invasive on this island. I am worried to introduce another kind although, this is pretty Simbad.

Well fancy that I have quite a few ferns now and none are a problem here , only 1 that I 've ever had seedlings from and then only 2!!

This is a favourite of mine, has made a beautiful plant, but certainly not invasive here....never had any seed around unfortunately....

I looked this up on the Azorian Biodiversity website because it looked familiar, and sure enough, I have Cyrtomium falcatum growing. It's listed as 100% invasive on all 9 islands - I know I didn't plant it.
