This green form of Bismarck is not as common and desirable as the silver form. It's also an extremely tender palm native to Madagascar. Photo taken on Nov. 21, 2015 at the San Diego Zoo.

The one in 2008 was taken in North Park. It was taken during the ending of a 7 years drought. We're in a severe drought, again...but I think it looks better now. I think the green form likes a little more water, besides being more tender.
There's never any stupid questions. :>)

I actually know that last, and I truthfully tell my customers that, but there sure are some questions that I ask that make me feel stupid when I get the answer! :/

Found it, Delonix!
Someday, I'll learn to look around a little before I ask stupid questions. This one looks happier than the one from 2008. I still want to see the one in Arizona, but not sure how to look for it.
