These are blooming like mad everywhere. No ID. Hopefully someone will tell me.

Is that Tithonia? Many Mexican plants of the higher elevations are called "Cloudforest daisy's". They do well in the bay area,but not that well.It would be a huge Tithonia.

I don't think it is Stan, this does not have that daisy shape. It is a weed here growing mainly at roadsides and on eroded sites. I did not see it in anybody's garden.
I found one of the "Cloudforest daisy's" close by....I believe that is Montanoa ....will post

I grew Montanoa grandiflora for years. Fast growth,and the foliage had the aroma of chocolate. I dug it up one year. I should have let it be. But,a few years later I planted another Mexican ( and SA) cloudforest plant,Wigandia. Its even more rampant.
