They do best in cooler weather. They just love this strange weather. They completely faint over the summer.

Some years even in winter they don't grow too well. The last two winters have been almost like summer time here. This winter I think it'll be a little different. Hopefully more rain and cooler.

I always thought San Diego had the best weather in the whole world.

It does have one of the most comfortable, mild subtropical climates in the U.S. However, with this being said it appears to be getting hotter and hotter and more humid every year. It was considered the city with "perpetual spring".
