Hi will it be hardy enough ?

I did have two until 2012 winter done away with the both of them mine was Red something ? never bothered since

I hope so Gg, have a deciduous Campsis, on another fence doing Ok and the Maurandya, which is quoted as tender is still green, neither of these 2 have protection, which I am giving the Clianthus, whilst still young.

Hopefully it will do well for you....

Gg, Lowest with me so far, zero, Clianthus still perky, but ponds had a covering of ice the other day, Sarracenia in there, would have liked to keep them under the carport for longer, but not to be.

Hb, that is good to hear, you being much further north to me, but mine is still a baby, so wrapped up well.

Our neighbour grew hers in a pot for some time and it survived a couple of bad winters...
