My Croton is putting out new leaves and flower spikes in the hot weather we've been having. Photo taken Feb. 15, 2015 on President's Day Holiday.

This form is not as hardy as Mammey or Petra. I wouldn't recommend it for Hayward outside.

IF I see that type I will try it...but Mammy and Petra just gave up the ghost this winter. Some weather sites say our lowest was 33f. Died without being frozen since I covered them.
