Velvet Groundsel.

Had to look up Roldana, now I see it is like my Brachyglottis, an ex Senecio member.

It has a fair amount of hardiness. It grows on Tresco island in the UK. I would think Cornwall could grow it also. If it gets a good start in summer,it can come back from the roots.

Thought it was a Citisus, pineapple broom at first.

This plant grows big and wild in Balboa Park, in shady areas.
