Amaryllis Anglo-American hybrid (15th of 2016) on living room table 07-03-2016

Glad you think so, Hywel! :) I very much agree with you as well! As you will have seen from the caption on the photo, it's one of my Anglo-American hybrids. This is the very first time ever these plants have ever flowered! I explained a bit about them in a blog some weeks ago.

Unfortunately the flowers have now died off & I'll be removing this bulb, as well as two others that have also finished flowering, from the living room table tomorrow. They will go back into the bedroom window from whence they came till May when they will go back down to Gerry's allotment till the middle of October.

Have you labelled this one ? It's very pretty. I think it's worth saving and maybe giving it a name :D

No, I haven't named any of my Amaryllis, neither the older hybrids that started to flower some years ago or the Anglo-American hybrids that have just begun to flower for the very first time this year.
