Primula allionii "Anna Griffith" (Primula allionii (Allioni's Primrose))

Been for a while (I went back to Japan recently).

Now allioniis have started flowering in the cold frame.

Impressively tidy few more flowers it would do well on a show bench.A quite old variety I started growing it in the 1970s used a few time for hybridizing ,the best seedling which retained the wavy edge is Allionii 'Stradbrook Flounce'
if it is of any interest there is a picture of it on my pics dated 10-1-2016

Thanks! Yes, I saw your Stradbrook Flounce the other day and very nice!

I've been watering with rain water (no tap water at all) and treating with provado vine weevil killer 2 or 3 times a year (no vine weevils but for root aphids)
