Sheila, don't be so hard on yourself! I agree with Homebird, it's a lovely Spring border. I have just come in from the GH, sowing flower seeds and the noise on the roof from a downpour of rain/hail was awful :o(

You're both very kind - thank you :)) Oh dear, Shirley, hope your flower seeds haven't been washed away. I sowed Godetia on Monday (luckily a windless and sunny day) so must check . . .

I was in the Greenhouse sowing seeds in trays ... very disappointed with the seed compost as I had to sieve out all sorts of rubbish from within it! It was John Innes too ... expected better quality.

The sun is shining again ... we have had rain and hail today and are forecast a storm overnight ... not good for the Easter weekend.

Well it looks a perfectly good picture to me - nothing wrong with it at all :)

That's annoying for you, Shirley, it shouldn't happen. There were odd dry bits in my GroSure Ericaceous compost too, but their 'seed and cutting' is lovely and soft, like velvet! Maddening when you can't rely on quality . . .

When I need some more seed compost I shall try that brand ... thanks Sheila.
