I love the way the foliage shines on this plant.

I am trying to rid my garden of Ficaria Brazen Hussy, she is such a nuisance.

I agree with Siris, this is a nightmare of a plant, originally discovered by Christopher Lloyd....ours started as a well behaved clump, then it went mad....

Siris I was looking before the storms arrived yet again ( soaked with the dog once more) at the double creamy white variety it is never a problem have to divide it to increase,

The little bulbils break off of Brazen Hussey while trying to remove, then the following year they are back. I have been trying to eradicate BH for the past 15+ years. The white sounds nice, but wouldn't want to risk it.

Sounds a bit like the wild Garlic at the bottom of my garden there is a never ending supply of bulbils on that
Another odd one is lily of the valley that for years would never increase ( I had heard Goy members say it was a weed ) then a few years back it suddenly started spreading like mad and one of 2015 jobs were to dig as much as i could out except It never grew at least not above ground ,Did a bit of reading on it and some years it only grow underground ,so will see how far it has traveled ,could be a problem as it is in an area where a lot of snowdrops are naturalized.

I introduced Allium triquestrum some years ago, more fool me. Just a few appear each year now, I remove them as soon as I spot the flowers.
