Yeah, loads of buds. Can't believe it's only one year, grown from a cutting. What's the secret? Do you feed it? I don't feed at all to my cacti (got no money for them LOL).

I haven't fed it. Maybe it would have had more flowers if I had.
I don't feed desert cacti very much. It would make them grow foo fast and have soft stems, which would not survive the winter very well.
I just feed them once in the early summer.
