Thanks Brian. Patience, Karen . . . this one is well ahead of two others in the front garden which are in a more exposed spot: yours will soon 'be there' for sure!

Is it a flowering cherry? If so, you're lucky, mine has only got a couple of flowers but lots of buds. Mine is about 15 years old, well that's how long I've had it, and still only a couple of feet high. It tells me that spring has come though.

That's right Thorneyside . . . a dwarf flowering cherry. I like the 'japanesey' look :)

It's very pretty, Sb. but it doesn't seem to show up very well against the gravel & the pale fence.
