This is always covered in flowers like this Gg, oooo yes loads of huge bumblebees they adore this:-), I have King Edward too grown from cuttings from my MIL garden in fact I have 5 lol.
See you were even a bee man when you were little :-)
I must remember to take some cuttings for you both Dawn and Gg .

Ok once it's finished flowering and has some new growth I'll take some cuttings.
Dawn I have been pricking out seedlings from both the salvia seeds you send and also have seeds sprouting of foxglove Stewartii :-)

Brilliant. I've been sowing your seed too, so exciting. Stewartii does seed around, but you will love it. Im so looking for to your Chinese foxglove growing ?

I like this , has it more flowers this year ? should be made more available. Any bees ?
The smell of the leaves and flowers reminds me off when I was little, next door had a huge bush on the boundary fence smoothed in bees which I use to collect and put in my toy plastic garage , thinking back how I never got stung ? plus I used to bring it into the living room lol (my poor mum)
My 'King Edward VII' hardwood cutting has taken.
