Star of India × Dragonfly Tattoo

The early early season is frustrating - all the plain ones open first.

Surely with the stripe, you don't consider this plain.

Its very lovely. The colours are striking and the shape is wonderful.

I know the parents, and very little came through except the wine red color of Star of India. The shape is terrific for a day like today - mostly fog. But the stripe is something I have seen a lot of. I might add, this is 6" across and stands about 30" tall. There is also a faint blueish halo above the throat. You can also see it has a velvet finish that is dark red at the right angle. But if it doesn't improve, not a keeper.

I think a lot of people would be thrilled to have it. If you are going to get rid I hope you can find someone locally who would like it.

I have several friends who take all my rejects. They have different tastes than mine, so I don't actually have to compost any of them. Although I am getting complaints that they are running out of room.
