Trillium grandiflorum 'Gothenburg's Pink Strain' - 2016

Has this plant got a metal anti- slug collar around it or is it a pot sunk into the ground? Ps like the Trillium.

It has the copper ring around it but it needs cleaning. They work best when the copper is shiny.

So you think they work as a slug/snail deterrent? And shiny ones, I would have thought the rings that had got verdigris coating would have been more toxic.

I have a couple of Trilliums but not this lovely pink.

Linda - this is a rare colour form found at the Gothenburg Botanic Garden. I bought it from an overseas specialist nursery, but I think Edrom Nursery in Scotland have some from time to time.

Very pretty despite the nibble.
