It has the copper ring around it but it needs cleaning. They work best when the copper is shiny.

So you think they work as a slug/snail deterrent? And shiny ones, I would have thought the rings that had got verdigris coating would have been more toxic.

I have a couple of Trilliums but not this lovely pink.

Linda - this is a rare colour form found at the Gothenburg Botanic Garden. I bought it from an overseas specialist nursery, but I think Edrom Nursery in Scotland have some from time to time.
