Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai'

Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai'

Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai'. Having read recent comments on someone else's plant, I wonder if planted in the ground mine would grow to 9 metres. I can see there is what I think is a grafting joint so maybe dwarf root stock is the answer to it's size. I love it anyway, it's been next to my door for fifteen plus years and has taken all kinds from the weather, wind, etc. When the pot broke last year it was repotted and a couple of branches died back. I thought for a while I had lost it but it bounced back.

Glad it has survived. I think you must be correct about it being grafted.
