You do like your Tulips. Do you leave them in the ground from one year to the next, or lift and bed them elsewhere till replanting for next year?

Depends on many things but now I have come to the conclusion that most tulips do best in the soil, I am now moving those in pots into the garden, as I can plant them as easily as other plants and not have to reach so far down to plant them, as you do when they are dormant. I think Darwin tulips last the longest in the garden, I have some at least 7 years old, also single late and early do nearly as well.

I was just thinking the tulips are good this year some that didn't flower here last year, and I was going to pull out, are brilliant.
