Thanks Klahanie, I have so many of them, lol, It's hard to keep up with. Many others are just breaking ground. This morning I noticed your crocosmias you sent all growing like gangbusters. I'm really looking forward to those.

It would be neat to see them blooming in your garden Bathgate. Traveling all the way across the continent and surviving your winter. They don't bloom until late summer. Your tulips, daffodils and even irises will be long gone.

They'll bloom I'm sure. The long winter rest was just what they needed. The key was planting them deep enough so they won't freeze. They seem happy so far - lots of sun, rain & no deer.

Aren't they great. I never know what's going to pop up next.

Beautiful with the sun shining through them.

I bought some in pots yesterday from the garden centre, reduced to half price. I've popped them in a part of the garden which needed a bit of brightening up. They've not even flowered yet so I can't wait to see what they look like.

I have a bunch of "late bloomers" that have just only broken through. I'm glad they don't all bloom at once.

They are going to look great for you. I got these from the salvage pile at the supermarket. I think I paid $1.00 for 6. The squirrels ate one, but I still got a good deal.
