Spring garden with everything trying hard to get going, even in the path. I have to take out Geranium, Campanula, Phlomis, Nigella etc. which have seeded in the gravel path. (Celandine removed yesterday with , hopefully, not too much left behind to regrow).

I dug deep Siris and it went in the bin with the soil as well. You've got to think positive or you'd give up. I can't tell the grandchildren to always say "I can and I will" and not believe it myself can I.

Did you have only the one? I must have taken out at least 20 plantlets this year so far. Started with one plant, oh, 15 years ago, the little bulbils get every where.

No Siris, a little clump but dug deep, about six inches, lifted and dumped the whole lot in the hope that the little bulbs weren't any deeper.

That's good Thorney, I have found the little bulbils are not attached very firmly and just drop off.

You are obviously not a pessimist, you will be lucky to get rid of the Celandine now.
