Some of you may remember that I was thrilled to have 6 bracts on my Cornus "Eddie's White Wonder" last year - today I have more than 20!!!! (after a 12-year wait . . )

I love it too, though I think in this case beauty is "in the eye of the beholder". The best ones are huge, dome-like shrubs covered in dozens of bracts, whereas mine is quite spindly . . . but do I care?!

I agree, they are more amazing as they grow. We call them 'Dogwoods' not sure it's a name you use in the UK.

Yup - flowering dogwoods :)

I just adore flowering Dogwoods, but I can't grow them here because I am too exposed to strong winds. So I shall enjoy yours! :)

Fair enough Karen - you're welcome to pop in as often as you like!

I thought that this cornus suppose to have distinctive lax layered branching habit Sheila. They are beautiful. Yours "20" is just the beginning.
