Lovely colours

This is a better purple in real life.

I can imagine it is its all to do with the light I ve heard professional say the best light is just as dusk comes.

I found that during the summer when the flowers open before the sun hits them, the colours are the brightest. If I don't get a photo then, I have to wait until dusk, but by then the colours have aged and are dull. Right now, if a cloud passes in front of the sun, the flowers are slow to open and have strong colours.

Very true as I have wide boarders it is impossinle to get my back to the sun in order to take a photo so I have to wait untill the sun goes around the garden .
