Wild Garlic In The Woodland

I only smell it when the leaves are crushed Amy. I remember the lady on here a few years ago in Wales, forgotten her name just now and she ranted how the garlic was taking over the woodlands in her area but to be honest, its slow to spread here, I wish it would a bit more.

Love the smell of this the people over the road have been clearing some of their woodland area and the scents been wonderful .

I love garlic in food, but, cannot stand it when grown en masse ,when it takes over it is a nightmare.. especially at the expense of other woodland plants, just be careful?

Hi DD, yes, I remember Arlene in Wales saying it was awful there. It's never gone crazy here, probably the wet clay keeps it in check.

I bet you can smell it Dawn I have some along our ditch edge I'm not sure if it is a mistake here as it does spread its perfect for your wood ,Our local Bluebell wood has it spread over huge areas ...
