Unfortunately I do not have names for my irises as they were here before we arrived.
This is a very tall iris and had to be suported

I have only one of these. All my irises came with the house we moved to 13 years ago . I have neglected them as I wanted to grow roses only to find out that we have lots of wildlife here and the rose will not survive if it is unprotected. I think I will get irises a second chance because they have beautiful flowers and they are surviving well here (except slugs love the leaves.)
Would this be Iris 'Indian Chief'?

Could be Khalanie, the colour is not really intense though! I am posting a pic of Indian Chief in the next couple of days, was torrential rain here yesterday, and my pic was useless.

I'll be watching.

I find sometimes the sun washes out the colour of photographs also, sometimes. Better photo today. Think I agree with your Indian Chief name.

You are absolutely right Siris. Cameras see colours differently. I looked at your picture and my iris looks identical. I will go and get another picture when is not sunny.
Thank you for the confirmation.
