Nice big flowers. My Concha is doing its thing, love them.

We had to ditch Concha, when the fence was done, which was such a shame.....
Siris there are so many lovely ones, although the evergreen only last about ten years......

Yes, I had an evergreen Ceanothus up the back left fence, 10 years was about right, then replaced with the Cistus. Might try cutting right back a couple of leggy stems on the Cistus, but I don't think they take kindly to cutting into the old wood.

Well you can but try.......

I lost a Cistus by cutting back to hard I think, went straggly and couldnt resist. Its a shame Concha and other evergreen ones are short lived.
Is this the ultimate height of Blue Jeans DD?

Like the look of this variety. Evergreen , to I.5 m in 10-20 years, just looked it up because I am looking at a Ceonothus to replace my Cistus which is really leggy on the side fence, but don't think I can wait that long.
