It shouldn't be too long, but then I saw on SkyNews it was still getting below 10C at night there.

Yes it's strange weather, a lot of the scapes that started to develop early died when we had a late frost, but most have started sending up more now thank goodness, none near to flowering yet though.

Today it is cold (only 15C) and a yellow warning for rain the next 3 days. It is the summer that won't start.

It certainly is, only 9.5 degrees here today and its rained all day, it was 17 degrees yesterday !!
At least the gardens enjoying the rain, I think I over fed my roses I gave them manure and rose food I can barely see out my kitchen window lol.

It's my fault: It seems just about every time I receive new daylilies, it rains and helps them settle in. I am so far behind in deadheading, I need to take a full day for that. But if it's nice tomorrow, I will be making mulch for the new plants.
