Persicaria microcephala 'Red Dragon' (Persicaria microcephala)

Persicaria 'Red Dragon' grown primarily for its foliage, but it does have sprays of white flowers later.

I hope you've allowed lots of space for this one Sue. If it likes its position it romps away, then flops and smothers everything around it.

Andrew you said exactly the same last year. No room to flop, it is held up by its equally strong neighbours, and I do put in twiggy sticks.

If need must, Andrew, As I previously mentioned, mine don't get stacked the surrounding plants hold it up. Will see what it does after all the rain last winter.
