I can see..as more flowers open,they are getting a bit larger. Like I remembered. If you are in a colder climate,this a great greenhouse plant. Will bloom as long as the days are. Then,they rest in winter.

I guess you meant to say: the days are warm and sunny. LOL! :>)

This is a pretty common plant here in San Diego. It's a very tropical plant, though. I would never guess it could grow up there.

Wiki has a photo of one that's breathtakingly spectacular. Looking like a flowering Baobab. In some greenhouse where its featured to the point a whole section revolves around that one plant.
