I have two plants of this Geranium phaem but the colour is in between the two previous, 'Mourning Widow' and the paler, lilac coloured one. One seeded in gravel path and one in with a phormium. I can only think they are a cross between the two previous Geranium.

I know my Aquilegia like to cross but never gave a second thought to Geraniums Steragram. My gravel path seems to be a haven for things to seed. Trouble is, until they flower I hate to just hoe them so at the moment it's full of Nigella, but all blue, and Geraniums waiting to flower. Weeds come out at first sign though.

Must be - geraniums seem to like being promiscuous!
I have a self sown delicate lilac one (not a phaum)but it isn't as free flowering as the parents.
